AU SERIES SINKER EDM CUTTERS
Sinker EDM process is made by immersing an electrode and a metal workpiece in an insulating liquid, which ensures superior surface quality and precise measurements. The liquid used is usually oil, and a power source produces an electrical charge between electrode and metal. Metal is cut off by sparks caused by this electrical charge. Sinker electric discharge processing produces a hundred thousand sparking per second. The difference of this method from wire EDM is that it can more easily cut blind-holes.
Our AU series sinker EDM machines offer the most efficient operation with excellent ergonomic access to the work area and simplified automation. Our Sinker EDM machines are ideal for cutting narrow corner radii, which must be produced with tight tolerances.
